Semi-legendary kings of Sweden contains people from before the reign of King Eric the Victorious (died in 995 or 996). In Swedish they are called "sagokungar" (saga kings) since they are not supported by contemporary sources, but only by Nordic saga literature. They are not officially recognized as kings of Sweden or members of any Swedish royal family. Saga kings from before the viking age are considered fictional by some historians, for example Dick Harrison. One of Eric's alleged queen consorts is also included here, as is another queen with an 11th-century story.
