Ciguatera (Japanese: シガテラ, Hepburn: Shigatera) is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Minoru Furuya. It was serialized in Kodansha's seinen manga magazine Weekly Young Magazine from 2003 to 2005, with its chapters collected in six tankōbon volumes.

Written and illustrated by Minoru Furuya, Ciguatera was serialized in Kodansha's seinen manga magazine Weekly Young Magazine from 2003 to 2005.[3] Kodansha collected its chapters in six tankōbon volumes, released from December 25, 2003,[4] to August 5, 2005.[5]

In North America, the manga was licensed for English release by Kodansha USA (as a Vertical title) and will publish it in a three-volume omnibus edition.[6][2] The first volume was released on November 9, 2021.[7]

In France, the manga was licensed by Akata [fr].[3]

Reception

Ciguatera was one of the Jury Recommended Works at the 8th and 9th Japan Media Arts Festival in 2004 and 2005, respectively.[13][14][15]
