The word cramming has several meanings, including:

  • Cramming (fraud), in which small charges are sneaked onto a consumer's bill without their consent
  • Cramming (memorization), working intensively to absorb large volumes of informational material in short amounts of time
  • Cramming school, specialized schools that train their students to meet particular goals, most commonly to pass the entrance examinations of high schools or universities
