Background
It was in 1980 when DWXT FM had its test broadcast, it's full blast was 1 January 1981, under the management of Filipinas Broadcasting Network. Mr. Jesus Viduya was the Station Manager from 1981-1982 followed by Mr. Ben Arzaga 1982-1986. During that time DWXT-FM has no permanent DJs on board and no music format. Trainees then were the one handles program. The choice of music depends on the DJ on board. 1986 EDSA Revolution, is so memorable to DWXT FM because Filipinas Broadcasting Network is now under the management of Radio Corporation of the Philippines, new management, new hope. With the leadership of the new management under Mr. Bobby Barreiro the national sales of DWXT FM improved a lot with the help of Mr. Eugene Ramos who was then the operations manager of RCP. A new program supervisor was put in position that same year. His name is Mr. Bobbit Sanches who did a lot of innovations in improving the music format of DWXT FM. It was under the helm of Mr. Francis L. Cardona that made DWXT FM No. 1 in 10 straight years. The new name of DWXT ONE FM came from Mr. Cardona's never ending and superb ideas.
