Darine (Arabic: دارين) (born 1974) is a Swedish singer-songwriter.[1][2] With two albums in account, her debut single was "Aiwa" on her album Ma Rulez. In 2006, she released the album My Compliments.

Biography

Darine was born in Tripoli, Lebanon to a Lebanese father and Romanian mother.

Career

Darine's "Aiwa" was released in summer 2004, produced by EMI music Arabia & PRO Music.

After, Darine released her album Ma Rulez, which included two versions of the song "Aiwa" along with 18 new tracks. The album included "Ja Leily" (pronounced "Ya Leily"). This was Darine's second single. Darine relaunched a music video for "Aiwa", which was not well received as the track already had a video. The broadcast of the new music video did not last long.
