Eric Johann Johnson (born August 7, 1979) is a Canadian actor best known for playing the role of Whitney Fordman on the television series Smallville. Johnson left the cast after the first season but resurfaced in guest appearances during the second and fourth seasons.

Johnson's most high-profile role to American audiences before Smallville was playing "Teen Tristan" in Legends of the Fall. Brad Pitt played the same character as an adult. In Canada, Johnson was the lead in an award-winning film titled Scorn. He also recently directed a short film. More recently, Johnson played the lead role in a new Flash Gordon TV series that debuted on Sci Fi in August, 2007. The show was canceled after only one season in April 2008. On November 27, 2010 he starred as Jake Finley in the new Hallmark movie, Debbie Macomber's Call Me Mrs. Miracle. He currently portrays Luke Callahan on the Canadian drama, Rookie Blue, which has been renewed for a third season as of June 2011. He portrays inmate Cal Sweeney, a bank robber, on the Fox television series Alcatraz.

In 2004, Johnson married writer-producer Adria Budd, on his 25th birthday. They have a daughter, Calla Prairie.[1]
