Photograph of a group of workmen, likely of the Ngoni people. The men are pictured in two rows and a brick building with a thatched roof can be seen to the left of the image. Chitezi is likely a Ngoni headman or chief and probably can be seen standing in the centre of the group.; The Ngoni people are an ethnic group living in Malawi, Mozambique, Tanzania and Zambia. Their origins can be traced to the Zulu people of kwaZulu-Natal in South Africa.
