Français : Aphrodite dite "Vénus Génitrix". Statue romaine en marbre de Paros (H. : 1,64 m) d'époque impériale (fin du Ier siècle ou début du IIe siècle ap. J.-C.). ayant fait partie de la collection royale française, saisie en 1803, conservée au Louvre à Paris (Réf :MR 367. Ma 525) et y photographiée en décembre 2011.
English: Aphrodite known as "Venus Génitrix". Roman statue made with marble from Paros (H. 1.64 m) from the imperial period (late 1st century or early 2nd century AD). having been part of the French royal collection, seized in 1803, kept at the Louvre in Paris (Ref: MR 367. Ma 525) and photographed there in December 2011.
