English: Bill of sale dated 19 April 1911 transferring ownership of the Kensington Runestone from Olof Ohman to the Minnesota Historical Society for ten dollars.
The property description reads:
All the right title interest and ownership that I am seized of in and to the so-called Runston found by me on my farm of ninety eight acres in section fourteen in the town of Solem in the county of Douglas and state of Minnesota in the year Eighteen Hundred Ninety eight (1898)
A more particular description of said stone being- Said stone being a Greywacke about twenty eight inches long, fifteen inches wide, and five and one half inches thick, weighing two hundred and thirty pounds, containing the following inscription in runes...
