English: "U.S. Senator Dick Durbin (D-IL) joined Mayor Rahm Emanuel, U.S. Representative Mike Quigley (D-IL-05) and others to discuss how the planned rebuild of the Chicago Transit Authority's Red and Purple Lines could benefit from the Federal Transit Administration's new Core Capacity Program at a news conference in Chicago on Friday, January 17. The Core Capacity Program was created by Durbin in the 2012 transportation bill and received an infusion of funding through the omnibus appropriations bill passed by the Senate last week."
