Español: El 3 de abril del año 2011 se realizó en Uruguay, la Ceremonia de Apertura de los Festejos del Año XIII. Dicho evento estuvo enmarcado en las actividades conmemorativas del Bicentenario de Uruguay, las cuales tuvieron lugar durante ese año. En la ceremonia, que tuvo lugar en Montevideo, participaron mas de 500 niños de 19 escuelas de todo el país.

La fotografía fue tomada por Santiago Barreiro para la Secretaría del Bicentenario, dependiente de la Comisión del Bicentenario, la cual está conformada por autoridades de todos los partidos políticos, de diferentes Ministerios y organismos públicos de Uruguay.

English: On April 3rd 2011,the Opening Ceremony of the XIII Year Celebrations were held in Uruguay. The event was part of the activities commemorating the Bicentennial of Uruguay, which took place during that year. A ceremony that took place in Montevideo and was attended by more than 500 children from 19 schools across the country. This photograph was taken by the Secretariat Santiago Barreiro of the Bicentennial Commission, which is made ​​up of authorities of all political parties, from different ministries and agencies of the Government of Uruguay.
