Summary

Description
English: Aerial view of Wiri, 5 April 1978. This shot was taken looking southward along the Southern Motorway. The newly developed Manukau City Centre mall can be seen to the lower right. On the other side of the motorway, across the Redoubt Road bridge, is the Clover Park subdivision. The earthworks beyond are for the Goodwood Heights and Totara Heights subdivisions. On the far side of the motorway and Great South Road are the earthworks of the Ministry of Housing's Wiri housing area. The suburb of Manurewa lies beyond.
