Fair use in Aspect magazine[edit]

Though this image is subject to copyright laws, its use is covered by the US fair use laws because:

1. The image of a magazine cover is used as the primary means of visual identification for the magazine.
2. The image is not used in such a way that suggests to the reader that the article is written or authorized by the owner of the magazine.
3. The subject of the article pertains to the visual arts, so a visual representation is imperative.
4. No free item exists that identifies the magazine.
