English: Intermediate magnification micrograph of a bile duct hamartoma, also von Meyenburg complex and Meyenburg complex, seen in a liver of an individual with polycystic kidney disease and cholestasis. Trichrome stain.


Bile duct hamartomas are clusters of bile ducts surrounded by a fibrous stroma. They are classically seen in cystic liver disease, but are occasionally present in a normal livers.
