English: Portrait of Giorgio des Geneys (1761-1839) [1], misidentified with Charles Felix of Savoy (1765-1831).
  • Identification based on the comparison with some portraits of Giorgio des Geneys (see images below) and the lack of physical resemblance of the sitter of this portrait to verified representations of Charles Felix of Savoy.
Español: "La presente miniatura debe fecharse en 1821, durante el primer año de su reinado, pues entre las condecoraciones con las que está representado; orden de la Annunzziata, orden de San Maurizio y Lazzaro, orden de San Gennaro, orden del mérito militar y civil de Saboya; falta el Toisón de Oro, que le fue concedido por el emperador Francisco II en 1822. El anónimo pintor debe ser relacionado con el entorno de Jean-Baptiste Isabey. Siguió el modelo creado por el maestro francés para las miniaturas del periodo de la Restauración (1815-30) y que estableció durante su estancia en Viena, entre 1812 y 1815, cuando, comisionado por Talleyrand, se convirtió en el pintor oficial del Congreso.
