Summary

Description
English: Chesterfield tram No. 7 at Crich Tramway Village. Photographed in the depot, this magnificently restored tram was built for Chesterfield Corporation Tramways in 1904. It was one of a batch built to replace the former horse drawn trams. It fortunately survived a depot fire, which destroyed several of the fleet, and survived until the system was replaced by trolleybuses in 1927. It was then sold and ended up as as a holiday home, and later as someone's permanent home. Unusually both decks survived, and were put side by side, when used as a home. They were put together again for the restoration, which cost over £250,000.
