Bringas; and official handover or turnover of Palarong Pambansa Flag by Marcelino "Marcy" Teodoro received by 2024 Palarong Pambansa host Cebu City per Mayor Mike Rama and the extinguishing of the 2023 Palarong Pambansa flame by 17 Region Flag bearers or Standard-bearers; farewell of participants, delegates, guests, in the para-games, demonstrations, exhibition sports and Indigenous Filipino traditional games, regular and demonstration games, wrapped on Saturday August 5, 2023 - with the National Capital Region (NCRAA) in the overall title total of 85 gold, 74 silver and 55 bronze medals winning the overall championship for the 16th straight edition; teams 17 regional athletic associations, athletes 9,172 sport 34 events 1,573; Region VI Western Visayas finished 2nd; the the 2024 Palarong Pambansa will be hosted by Cebu City, for the 3rd time in history after the latter staged the Palaro twice in 1954 and 1994; while the 2025 Palarong Pambansa by Ilocos Norte at Marikina passes the hosting torch to Cebu City; Vice President Sara Duterte closed the games).
