В четверочастном зеленом и червленом поле - скачущая серебряная рысь в перевязь

Символика герба Ирбейского района многозначна.
Рысь - считается одним из самых умных и бдительных животных, ассоциирующаяся с духовной и физической силой. Сила рыси заключается в ее гибком теле и цепких сильных лапах. Рысь имеет пронзительный взгляд и обладает способностью видеть опасность через камни и преграды.
Устремленная вперед рысь - символ активности, энергии и стремления бесстрашно двигаться к цели.
Четверочастное поле аллегорически показывает четыре этапа становления и развития Ирбейского района: промышленность района, сельское хозяйство, предпринимательство и охотничье-рыболовный туризм.
Серебро (белый цвет) - символ чистоты и богатства, символ бескрайних Сибирских просторов.
Червлёная (красная) часть герба, аллегория восточного района Красноярского края, где солнце встает раньше всех в крае. Червлень - символ силы, храбрости, праздника и красоты.
Зеленая часть герба - символизирует природу, жизнь, здоровье, изобилие и плодородие.
