Summary

Description Corticogenesis in a brain of a reeler mutant mouse (lacking the Reelin protein). Six cortical layers are disorganized and inverted. Subplate cells mingle with Cajal-Retzius cells, creating the so-called "superplate". Radial glia fibers grow askew.
