English: Cover for the melody of the Japanese national hymn designed by Curt Netto (1847-1909) in 1880. The melody was arranged by Franz Eckert (1852-1916) and presented to the Japanese Emperor on 3 November 1880.

Deutsch: Umschlagentwurf von Curt Netto (1847-1909) für die von Franz Eckert bearbeitete Partitur der japanischen Nationalhymne. Diese wurde am 3. November 1880 anlässlich des Geburtstages des Meiji-Tennō im Kaiserpalast erstmals aufgeführt.
