Summary

Description

One of our two Seattle neighborhood Steller's Jays Cyanocitta stelleri stelleri, stocking up and caching nuts, seeds and foraged foods. This jay had four or five almonds in its expanded esophogus at the point of this photo capture.

Shot through my window with the Lumix 100-300mm at ISO 1000, 1/800, f4.5. Adjustments: standard raw file edits, saturation/desaturation.
