Deutsch: Der grüne Bord soll die waldreiche Umgebung andeuten. Das rote Kreuz auf silbernem Grund ist das Wappen von Kurtrier, zu dessen Herrschaft Berglicht einst gehörte. Das mit einem Kreuz belegte Herz ist dem Siegel des "Untergerichts Berg" entnommen.
