Summary

Description A left side view of two T-33 Shooting Star aircraft in flight. The far aircraft was repainted and renumbered in anticipation of its delivery to the Mexican air force, to which it was sold. The closer T-33 still belongs to the 95th Fighter Interceptor Training Squadron at Tyndall Air Force Base, Florida, the last active T-33 squadron in the Air Force. At the end of fiscal year 1988, the T-33 was phased out, ending nearly 40 years of service for the aircraft.
