English: Derby No. 4 shed from Hulland street footbridge with goods train passing. View SE, towards Trent, Leicester and London (left), Burton, Birmingham etc. to right. The tender-first locomotive is ex-Midland 3F 0-6-0 No. 43657, recently ex-Shops. Behind it is one of the 'new-fangled' Diesel multiple-units then recently introduced on local services. No. 4 shed is beyond and further over can be glimpsed some of the locomotives on shed. The signal gantry is vintage Midland. |
