Summary

Description
English: The desiccated corpse of a spiny mouse (genus Acomys). A local pet shop sold three "Egyptian spiny mice" to members of my family. The mice were surprisingly quick and managed to escape their cage several times. On one occasion we only recovered two. Around fifteen years later some electricians found its partially preserved corpse in the wall. Note the shortened tail probably lost in a degloving injury.
