English: CIRCA 1875; THE FOUNDER OF ELLERBE, CAPTAIN W. F. ELLERBE BUILT HIS HOME HERE BECAUSE OF THE MINERAL SPRINGS AND MANY PEOPLE HAVE COME. IT WAS A GIRLS TRAINING CENTER DURINGTHE WPA ERA AND ELEANOR ROOSEVELT WAS A GUEST HERE; HOTEL IS NOW CLOSED
