English: Eugène Goyet (1798-1857). Louise Béchet. Paris, Maison de Balzac, Paris. Louise-Marie-Julienne Béchet (1800-1880), who became the wife of Pierre-Adam Charlot and took the name of Charles-Béchet, then Madame Jacquillat. She was an editor of Balzac. From 1834 to 1837, she published Études de mores au XIXe siècle, the first foundation of The Human Comedy.
