Флаг Сковородинского района представляет собой жёлтое полотнище с соотношением ширины к длине — 2:3, несущее вдоль нижнего края две полосы по 2/15 ширины полотнища каждая; верхняя полоса составлена из 5 чередующихся белых и чёрных частей, а нижняя полоса — из 4 чередующихся красных и зелёных частей; посередине жёлтой части воспроизведён малиновый, с жёлтыми глазами, клювом и лапами орёл с распростёртыми крыльями, держащий в клюве чёрную змею и стоящий на бело-чёрной полосе.
