«Прямоугольное зелёное полотнище с соотношением ширины к длине 2:3, несущее изображения фигур из герба района (в версии без вольной части): жёлтые кадуцей и над ним два хлебных колоса, положенные в вилообразный крест, и между колосьями белое колесо от барабана молотилки; вдоль древка расположена жёлтая полоса, занимающая 1/4 длины полотнища, и в верхней части полосы — старинная княжеская шапка зелёного цвета, имеющая чёрную опушку и жёлтое украшение („городок“) с зелёным самоцветным камнем».

Флаг утверждён 6 февраля 2013 года и внесён в Государственный геральдический регистр Российской Федерации с присвоением регистрационного номера 8318.
