Portion used

The animation comprises 43 frames (4.3 seconds) from an infinite number that can be generated by the video game, and hence insignificant.

Low resolution?

Yes, this animation is composed by a number of frames at a resolution of 256x192 pixels each (0.05 Megapixels) and 4bit color, which although is the ZX Spectrum's original resolution, it is considered a very low resolution by nowadays standards.

Purpose of use

To illustrate one of the most important parts of the video game, which is the race itself. The races unfold lap by lap from a side view perspective on the starting lane, and a number of visual details can be seen like the speed that the cars pass by in each lap and the time difference between them.

Replaceable?

Unless the game is released for free someday, I guess we have no way to have a free equivalent ingame view like this.
