| Description |
English: Frongoch station, Nr Bala, Gwynedd This station was on the Bala Junction to Blaenau Ffestiniog line. At one time there was a whisky distillery here and the barrels were sent from the station. Construction of Llyn Celyn reservoir in the 1960s meant that the line would be cut four miles north west of Bala and to avoid a costly deviation the line was closed. |
