Description
English: Gel electrophoresis: An agarose-gel, 7 pockets filled with DNA fragments (in blue liquid); (+) and (-) indicate the polarity of the electric field. DNA-molecules (negative charge) move towards the anode (+) with different speeds (proportional to the fragment size).
Deutsch: Gelelektrophorese: Ein Agarosegel, 7 Taschen sind mit DNA-Fragmenten (in blauer Flüssigkeit) gefüllt; (+) und (-) geben die Polarität des elektrischen Feldes an. DNA-Moleküle (negativ geladen) bewegen sich mit unterschiedlicher Geschwindigkeit (abh. von ihrer Größe) zur Anode (+).
