English: Goddess of Myrtos. Rhyton in the shape of a female figure, painted terracotta. Finding at Early Minoan II settlement on top Phournou Koryphi at Myrtos, 2500-2300 BC. Originally stood at the altar inside the oldest known home shrine of the of Minoan Crete. It has a bell-shaped body, without legs, a long neck and small head. Holding a pitcher. Geometric painting of clothing and of sensitive sites. Archaeological Museum of Agios Nikolaos.
Čeština: Bohyně z Myrtu. Rhyton ve tvaru ženské postavy, terakota. Nález v EM II sídlišti na vršku Fournou Koryfi u Myrtos, 2500-2300 před n. l. Původně stála na oltáři uvnitř nejstarší známé domácí svatyně na minójské Krétě. Má zvonovité tělo, bez nohou, dlouhý krk a drobnou hlavičku. Drží džbán. Geometrická malba část oděvu a citlivých míst. Archeologické muzeum v Ag. Nikolau. |
