Fair use for Gordon Gekko[edit]
This image, Gordon_Gekko.jpg, is being linked here; though the picture is subject to copyright it is believed that its use is covered by the U.S. fair use laws because:
- it is a promotional screenshot of a film character;
- it does not limit the copyright owner's rights to sell media related to the character or the films in any way;
- copies could not be used to make illegal copies of the program;
- the image is accompanied by a description of the characters role and critical commentary of their importance on the film;
- the image is significant because it identifies a starring character and the subject of the article.
