DescriptionGuecho, Gran Bilbao, España. Monumento a Churruca.jpg
English: Monument to Evaristo Churruca, near the Puente Colgante, 1930s.
The monument is called "The struggle of man against the sea", due to the fact that Churruca improved the safety to ships of the Ría de Bilbao.
The monument depicts a man pushing a slab of stone over the God Neptune, whose attributes, Trident and Crown, lay broken on the ground.
