| Description |
English: A plant mutation experiment in 1959 at Brookhaven National Laboratory. The plants are growing in a "gamma greenhouse", arranged in concentric rings around a radioactive cobalt 60 source, in the pipe extending into the floor. Gamma rays from the cobalt 60 cause mutations in the plants.
