English: Kimberley railway station, South Africa. Artist and steam enthusiast David Shepherd receives a SAR class 15F locomotive in exchange for his painting 'City of Germiston'. In front of the loco David Shepherd, his wife Avril and a Transnet/Spoornet officer (from left to right). The locomotive No 3052 is called 'Avril', named after Shepherds wife.
Deutsch: Bahnhof Kimberley, Südafrika. Der Künstler und Dampflokfan David Shepherd erhält eine SAR Lokomotive der Baureihe 15F im Tausch gegen sein Gemälde 'City of Germiston'. Vor der Lok David Shepherd, seine Ehefrau Avril und ein Beamter der Staatsbahn Transnet/Spoornet (von links nach rechts). Die Lokomotive mit der Betriebsnummer 3052 ist nach Shepherds Frau 'Avril' benannt.
