English: Pictured: HMS Tamar leaving HMNB Portsmouth on the 7th of September 2021 to be forward deployed in the Indo-Pacific Region.Batch 2 River Class vessels are a new generation of River Class ships - larger, faster, more capable than the original Batch 1’s.They help to protect fishing stocks, but also are frequently called on for general duties at home and abroad.HMS Tamar (P233)The fourth of the five new Offshore Patrol Vessels being built to replace the current River Class vessels.
