Summary

Description
English: Highland Railway near Castle Grant The railway builders obviously had to follow the baronial architecture of the nearby estate gatehouses. Although soon rendered obsolete as the main line by the crossing of the Slochd, a route still open, the railway bewtween Forres and Strathspey finally closed in the 1960s. Now it is a footpath/cycleway.
