Description
English: Earl is now a category 2 hurricane, as it passes along the North Carolina Outer Banks. This system is moving north-northeast near 18 MPH, with winds near 105 MPH. The National Hurricane Center says that an increase in forward speed and a turn toward the northeast is expected in the next 12 to 24 hours.
