Bahasa Indonesia: Lokasi : Taman Nasional Sembilang, Kabupaten Banyuasin, Sumatera Selatan.
Taman Nasional Sembilang memiliki luas 205.750 hektar terdiri dari lahan basah pesisir alami dengan berbagai ekosistem hutan rawa gambut, rawa air tawar, hutan mangrove, dan dataran lumpur. Setiap tahun Taman Nasional Sembilang menjadi tujuan bagi burung dunia atau burung migran. Burung Migran adalah nama sebutan burung-burung asal Siberia, Mongolia maupun Tiongkok yang melakukan migrasi ke Australia dan Indonesia. Mereka melakukan migrasi karena di tempat asalnya sedang mengalami musim dingin sehingga mereka pindah untuk mencari lokasi yang sedang mengalami musim panas antara lain indonesia. Dalam perjalanan, ribuan burung migran mampir ke beberapa tempat di Indonesia antara lain Taman Nasional Sembilang. Lokasi ini diminati karena arealnya merupakan kawasan mangrove yang sangat disukai burung-burung migran. Sehingga di sana bukan saja untuk mencari makan bahkan bertelur. Kegiatan ini merupakan siklus kehidupan Burung Migran setiap tahunnya. |
