Summary

Description
English: The Japanese destroyer Hatakaze (DD-182), circa in the 1960s. Hatakaze had originally been commissioned as USS Macomb (DD-458). She was later converted to a fast minesweeper (DMS-23). She was commissioned in the JMSDF in 19 October 1954 and served until 1969. After her return to U.S. custody, she was then sold to the Republic of China on 6 August 1970 and served as ROCS Hsien Yang (DD-16).
