Summary

Description
Polski: Kościół św. Karola Boromeusza (Karlskirche) w Wiedniu
This media shows the protected monument with the number 21986 in Austria. (Commons, de, Wikidata)

This is the Karlskirche (Church of St. Charles Borromeo) in Vienna. I found it during a short trip into the town after the sessions at the conference were finished for that day. I kinda ran into it by accident, barely seeing the tops of the towers as I crossed the Karlsplatz on my way to the Secession. Unfortunately, there was a service in session, so I couldn't go up into the dome, which might have been a good thing since I hardly made it back in time for the conference reception as it was...

However, it's a pity that most churches in Vienna close their doors to visitors at around 6pm – spending the day at a conference leaves little time to see most of them from the inside.

This panorama was stitched from 3 portrait shots. I had originally taken 5 shots, but it was beyond my computer to be able to stitch all of them together. Ah well, the stuff to the left and right would have been boring anyway.
