Summary

Description

c/n 84 Built 1928 Delivered new to Switzerland and registered as CH-227 on 18th June 1928. Re-registered as HB-UFA on 1st October 1934 and cancelled from the Swiss register on 24th October 1957. Displayed at the BMW museum from 1978 with the false markings ‘D-1638’. This false registration has sometimes led to this airframe being referred to with the c/n 149, which actually relates to the original ‘D-1638’. Now operated by the BMW Classic museum, she is seen displaying at the 2019 Fête Aérienne Le Temps Des helices (Aerial Festival – The Time of the Propellers).
