Description Lot 2771-5: Brochures for the Hamburg-American Line. German ocean liner Bismarck, the sister ship to SS Vaterland, Hamburg American Line. Being launched on June 20, 1914. Bismarck was turned over to Great Britain as compensation for the sinking of HMHS Britannic and served as RMS Majestic, later HMS Caldonia. Courtesy of the Library of Congress. (2016/07/08).
