Summary

Description
English: Nelson River DC Transmission System: Part of the Manitoba Hydro High-Voltage DC Bipole III electrode ground line, west side of Highway 206, north of Dugald, Manitoba. Normally this carries only a small unbalance current but if one of the 500 kV legs of the main transmission line is out of service, the other leg can operate in monopole mode, with this line carrying ground return current to a buried electrode near Hazelridge, Manitoba.
