Deutsch: Mit Genehmigung der Bezirksregierung Trier vom 24. November 1966 erhielt die Gemeinde Minderlittgen das Recht, ein eigenes Wappen zu führen.
Minderlittgen gehörte zur Landesherrschaft des Kurfürstentums Trier, deshalb dessen Wappen: Rotes Balkenkreuz in Silber. Die Lilie ist Attribut der Muttergottes, der Pfarrpatronin von Minderlittgen. In Silber mit blauem Obereck 2 rote Pfähle ist das Wappen der Grafen von Runkel, die ehedem als Grundherren zu Minderlittgen die Mittel- und Grundgerichtsbarkeit ausübten. |
