Description
English: The endangered Tibetan antelope (Pantholops hodgsonii), also known as chiru. The antelope are killed for their wool, which is woven into the luxury fabric "shahtoosh", threatening the species' survival.
Svenska: Huvud av den tibetanska antilopen chiru (Pantholops hodgsonii). Antilopen dödas för ullens skull – som vävs till ett dyrbart tyg, "shahtoosh" – vilket fått till följd att arten är starkt hotad.
