WFP in Yemen works through its supported nutrition clinics to prevent and treat children and women from malnutrition by providing specialized supplementary food that contains the essential nutrition elements they need.
Acute malnutrition rates among children under five have hit the highest levels ever recorded in parts of Yemen. Hajjah has in the past suffered from some of the highest rates of malnutrition among children.
