Description
English: Waterway from the Mohawk River to Oneida Lake (at left) via Wood Creek and the Oneida Carry ("carrying place"). Extracted from Thomas Kitchin's map, "Communication between Albany and Oswego" (1772) that shows the waterway connecting the Hudson River near Albany to Oswego. Oswego is a port on Lake Ontario, which is the easternmost of the Great Lakes
